Today’s topic- Pride Goeth Before the Fall (of course I’m quoting Proverbs 16:18) and the corollary to that is verse 19: “Better to live humbly with the poor than to share plunder with the proud.”
This is topical of course because in the US this June was PRIDE month. How does the Pride movement justify an entire month when we dedicate only one day to Martin Luther King (who has arguably done far more for minority justice than any LGBT group or activist)
A little history from Wikipedia:
In June 1999, U.S. President Bill Clinton declared “the anniversary of [the] Stonewall [riots] every June in America as Gay and Lesbian Pride Month”.[10] In 2011, Obama expanded Pride Month to include the whole of the LGBT community. In 2017, Donald Trump declined to continue federal recognition but later recognized it in 2019 in a Tweet. After taking office in 2021, Joe Biden recognized Pride Month and vowed to push for LGBT rights in the United States, despite previously voting against same-sex marriage and school education of LGBT topics in the Senate.
Where I get concerned is when it gets pushed into schools- and not just a simple recognition of rights but under the guise of education it is actually INDOCTRINATION. It includes pushing literal pornographic materials into school libraries and adult entertainment with kids in public libraries!

Whatever consenting adults may choose to do with each other, it has no place in schools or in front of minor children. It is blatantly obvious that LGBT Pride now includes an agenda to shoe-horn in PAEDOPHILIA with performances and books depicting explicitly adult material.
In addition to paedophilia, Satanism has also somehow managed to attach itself to this movement, making it LGBTPS; the Target stores scandal in the US being the most recent demonstration, when they promoted a clothing line by transgender designer Erik Carnell. Looking at his works, it it difficult presume he’s not a Satanist.

“Activists soon discovered Carnell’s independent web store, where he has sold, among other items, pins and medallions that used satanic and occult imagery to make points about transphobia. A lavender, goat-headed medallion that reads “Satan respects pronouns” is among his most popular designs. A pin depicting a guillotine with the label “Homophobe Headrest” might be the edgiest.”
All this has led to a national pushback on corporations pushing a WOKE agenda. Here are a few stats:
- Bud Light has plummeted to #14 in America
- Sound of Freedom movie just hit $100M at box office in the US
- “Try That in a Small Town” is #1 on iTunes
- Disney lost $900M on their last 8 releases
I don’t think the general public actually takes time to consider what “gender-affirming care” really means. In the case of surgeries, it often means a lifetime of pain and reliance on pharmaceutical drugs. And it also means an irreversible process where people are left with non-functional genitalia.

Even Newsweek’s “Fact Checkers” couldn’t deny it- only spin it to say “Needs Context”
Clearly this is not a healthy, well-adjusted population…
